Thom Renwick
General Manager: Roche Pharma Management Centre Southern Africa
Thom Renwick was appointed General Manager of Roche South Africa and the Sub-Region in June 2025. He began his Roche journey in 2012 on the company’s Graduate Program in the United Kingdom, following his studies at King’s College London, Cranfield School of Management, and the University of Oxford.
Throughout his career at Roche, Thom has held leadership roles across multiple geographies, including Basel, Switzerland, where he worked in Global Product Strategy; Head of Ophthalmology in the UK; and Chief of Staff for Pharma International, supporting more than 100 affiliates from the global headquarters.
He has been widely recognised within the industry, winning the PharmaTimes New Marketer of the Year Award in 2015 and later being featured in the publication’s “Smart People” series in 2021, while also actively contributing to the Ophthalmology community in the UK.

Dorah Diale
Head of Regulatory Affairs
Dorah joined Roche in August 2019 as Regulatory Affairs Manager and was promoted to the Head of Regulatory Affairs in July 2021. Before joining Roche, Dorah worked as a Manager Clinical Trials at the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority for 5 years. Prior to that, Dorah worked at the National Department of Health as a Pharmaceutical Policy Specialist; South African Pharmacy Council as a Manager CPD and Registrations and later Manager Education and Training: Quality Assurance in the same organization.
Dorah holds Doctor of Pharmacy (Rhodes) degree, Masters of Business Leadership (SBL, Unisa), Masters in Medical Law and Ethics (UP), Bachelor of Pharmacy (UL) and Certificate in Total Quality Management (Unisa). During her leisure time, Dorah enjoys painting artwork and spending time with family and friends.
